Our Limited Sight

When I was in the elementary, my mom would picked me up from school using her motorcycle. Often, I got so sleepy and started to slumber. It happened several times.

One day, a passing rider made a sign and told my mom, that her child was sleeping. My mom was pretty shocked and gave me a long lecture about the danger of bla bla bla.

I felt discontented that day. Feeling that both my mom and the rider had distracted me from having a ‘pleasure of good time sleeping”. Not knowing the danger of my action yet.

Same things go with our Father in Heaven. Sometimes we feel, why our wishes not being granted, or why we can’t do this. We thought these are good. Thinking we know best. But of course. ‘Content’ is not the same as ‘Correct’.

Our Father can see far more beyond our limited sight. He knows the dangers or the final results of each situation or action. Therefore, we should be taking interests to listen to our surroundings when they started warning us.

We need to trust God’s wisdom and the He’ll provide what’s best for us, even more than what we can imagine.

Matthew 7:11
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
